Many families in Lahore assume that studying abroad means Canada, the UK or the USA. But Europe offers excellent universities, lower fees and generous scholarships. Our students have recently gone to Hungary, Sweden, France and Ireland. Here is how three of the most affordable options compare.
Hungary: low fees and a full scholarship option
Hungary is one of the best value destinations in Europe.
- Tuition: among the lowest in the EU for English-taught degrees.
- Scholarship: the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship is open to Pakistani students. It can cover tuition, a monthly allowance and help with housing.
- Popular fields: medicine, dentistry, engineering, business and IT.
- Universities: our students have gone to the University of Debrecen, and in September 2026 two of our students received their Hungarian study visas.
Hungary is part of the Schengen area, so you can travel across much of Europe during your holidays.
Sweden: innovation and quality of life
Sweden is known for its modern teaching style, strong tech and engineering programs and high quality of life.
- Tuition: non-EU students pay tuition fees, which vary by program.
- Scholarships: the Swedish Institute and many universities offer scholarships for international students.
- Work: students with a residence permit can work alongside their studies.
- Intakes: mainly August, with applications opening around October of the year before.
Our student Talha Mansoor received his Swedish study visa in September 2026, and our students have applied to universities such as Kristianstad University.
France: world-class education at public university prices
France is a great choice for business, engineering, fashion, hospitality and the arts.
- Tuition: public universities charge set fees for non-EU students, which are much lower than private business schools.
- Work: students can work part-time, up to a yearly hour limit.
- Applications: most applications go through Campus France, which has a dedicated process for Pakistani students.
- Language: many master's programs are taught in English, but learning basic French helps a lot with daily life and part-time jobs.
Which one is right for you?
- The lowest cost or a full scholarship: Hungary
- Tech, engineering and a modern lifestyle: Sweden
- Business, design or a big city experience: France
Fees and rules change from year to year, so always check the latest details with the university or embassy before you apply.
